It’s time to put on your suit and collect your bones as Larian Studios has announced the release date for Baldur’s Gate 3.
Unveiled at The Game Awards 2022, now we know Baldur’s Gate 3 will finally be within our reach August 2023three years after its early access release, so hopefully we can expect some significant changes from then on.
While we already know about Baldur’s Gate 3, featuring all 12 D&D 5E classes and all the narrative threads, quests, and characters we’d like to see, the trailer also gives us a glimpse of what to expect from playing this amazing looking D&D RPG game.
Baldur’s Gate 3 feels like a fantastic melting pot of D&D goodies packed together in a game that’s fun to look at. A Cthulhu-like monster with tentacles, elven cities, bustling harbors and ethereal music that ties it all together. What else do you want?
It’s gloomy and gross where it should be (I’m looking at you, bug parasite drawer) but also stunningly stunning in daylight. I can only imagine the sights you’ll be able to discover.
But it looks like there won’t be much time to explore, not with a mind flayer tadpole in your brain. You will have to find a solution and save the day by finding allies and fighting enemies; it’s a piece of cake.
To put it simply, just try to get the guy out of the chest with fangs on your side; this seems to help.
But wait a minute, this is no ordinary adventurer, this is Minsc, a companion from the original Baldur’s Gate who appeared paired with a hamster named Boo.
